Commentary Script

We spent two hours setting up this scene, it was interesting to create. I tried to get into the persona of someone in that state of mind, doing this helped me to get into the role and set up the shine. The photos where fun to print out as, we had only a few and so simple we had to enlarge section to make it look abstract and sinister. The confetti looks great in contrast with black and white colour scheme. The candle light also makes this black and white scene look more sinister and obsessive. There are a lot of reason throughout the whole clip you didn’t see much of the woman’s face. We thought it makes the whole opening sequence more dark and when we see her she looks normal like just another girl. The starting music make the whole opening come together I thought it would make it even clearer to the audience what is going on.
The second half we have tried to make less oblivious using a peaceful location along with the Saturated Colour looks great we picked a perfect day for filming even though the colour looks unnatural we didn’t have to do anything to it. We got the desired look with little effort. We created the colour contrast was exactly the way we wanted it. To show the sinister side of this woman but also the attraction she felt for this man at the start and the decentred self it creates.
